Ancillary Services  - Policies that help close the gaps in your coverage

At Cherry City Insurance Services, we offer a full suite of supplemental plans that work alongside your existing health coverage to keep you protected from the unexpected.

Even with excellent ACA or Medicare coverage, there are still gaps — places where medical bills, recovery costs, or everyday expenses can fall back on you. Ancillary insurance products are designed to fill those gaps, reduce financial stress, and give you more complete financial protection.

Both ACA and Medicare plans are strong foundations — but they aren’t designed to cover everything.

  • ACA plans often come with high deductibles, copays, and out‑of‑pocket maximums.

  • Medicare leaves gaps in areas like hospital stays, skilled nursing, dental, vision, hearing, and long‑term care.

  • Neither program covers lost income, travel for treatment, or many recovery‑related expenses.

Ancillary products step in where your primary coverage stops.

How These Plans Work Together - Ancillary products are designed to layer with your ACA or Medicare plan:

  • Dental + Vision + Hearing = everyday wellness protection

  • Hospital Indemnity = protection from high medical bills

  • Short‑Term Care = help during recovery

  • Life Insurance = long‑term financial security

Dental Insurance

Helps pay for cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, and major dental work. ACA and Medicare do not include comprehensive dental benefits, making this one of the most important add‑ons for long‑term health.

Vision Insurance

Covers eye exams, glasses, contacts, and other upgrades. Medicare doesn’t cover routine vision care, and ACA plans vary widely — leaving many clients paying out of pocket.

Hearing Coverage

Help with hearing exams and hearing aids, which can cost thousands of dollars. Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids, making this a critical protection for seniors.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Pays cash directly to you when you’re hospitalized. This money can be used for deductibles, copays, travel, childcare, or lost income — expenses your ACA or Medicare plan won’t cover.

Short‑Term Care Insurance

Helps pay for recovery time after an illness or injury, including home health care or skilled nursing. Medicare has strict limits on skilled nursing, and ACA plans don’t cover custodial care at all.

Life Insurance

Provides financial security for your family, covering final expenses, income replacement, or legacy planning. It’s an essential part of a complete protection strategy — especially for ACA clients and Medicare beneficiaries who want to protect loved ones.

Together, these create a complete, well‑rounded coverage package that reduces financial risk and gives you peace of mind.
